By artist, ceramicist and Photographer Rhiannon Petrucci owner and founder of 'Vessel of a Goddess'.

A R T I S T

Rhiannon Petrucci currently resides in her beautiful hometown of St.Ives Cornwall where She predominantly  works in her studio nestled away in the rustic countryside of St. Just, Cornwall, this rich landscape is forever inspiring her art and informing her practice. She uses Cornish stoneware clay to hand build and craft her Ceramic female form shaped Vessels and the ancient technique of pit firing to finish her pieces, a process which dates back to 30,000 bc making it the oldest firing technique known to man.

“I feel I have been able to express the symbiotic relationship between the divine feminine and the natural world in a much more integrated way, then ever before in my practise. This connection has been manifested not only through technique but also felt through process; sometimes I feel the clay becomes of which it wishes, I am the tool which shapes and it is force that drives."
